Se va acabando el verano y con la llegada del otoño los kioscos se pueblan de suplementos de diferentes cursos, temas y aficiones. Uno de los más ofertados son los cursos de inglés. No se sabe porqué en septiembre a todos nos da por volver a aprender inglés pero rápidamente, la mayoría de las veces, nos rendimos pronto.
Existen en la web algunas páginas donde aprender inglés de una forma cómoda y gratuita. No es fácil encontrar una página fiable que se adapte a nuestras posibilidades. Hay algunas muy buenas pero al final siempre te quieren vender algo. Sin embargo hemos encontrado una web muy interesante, fiable y con gran calidad para aprender inglés o para mejorar el que ya tenemos.
Se trata de la web www.usalearns.org. U.S.A. Learns es un sitio web gratuito financiado por el Departamento de Educación de los Estados Unidos, con la intención de apoyar a los inmigrantes que quieran aprender o mejorar sus conocimientos del Inglés como parte del proceso de integración a la sociedad norteamericana.
El sitio web consta de tres programas:
.- Primer curso de Inglés: un curso nivel principiante basado en el vídeo con 20 unidades.
.- Segundo curso de Inglés: curso nivel intermedio de 17 unidades, basado igualmente en le vídeo
.- Práctica del Inglés y Lectura: 42 historias de nivel intermedio y actividades
Diseñado como una herramienta en línea para el aprendizaje de Inglés fuera de una aula de clases, el sitio ofrece actividades prácticas contextualizadas en comprensión, lectura, escritura, conversación y habilidades necesarias para el éxito en el trabajo y en la comunidad.
Todos los materiales para la enseñanza están en línea, NO es necesario comprar videos o libros.
Tampoco es necesario registrarse aunque es recomendable para poder seguir las clases por donde las dejaste.
